So the reason why pell lived was because of 9/11. Around the time that alabaster happened was around the time 911 happened so photo let pell live because of that. There were other times too where or to change the story based off of something that happened either in Japan or around the world

16:03 the more she rampages, the more innocent civilians get caught in the crossfire. like when she was rampaging on nuts island, she was breaking buildings and possibly killing people who got stuck under or hit by the pieces of buildings that were being thrown around. plus, big mom got really close to the straw hats in her rampage and could have killed them, had bege's crew and sanji not come in with the cake in the nick of time. at least this is how i view it as someone who watched it in the anime. maybe things were different in the manga

Interesting video thanks. I really wish you asked if the, 'nightmare' people involved in Memory of Light was worth it in his view, for their influence on the end product. I suspect not, from how he was talking about it - but would've been really interesting to hear his take on that. I think the most impressive thing Sanderson has done so far, was finish WoT. It certainly wasn't perfect (and never could've been). But that is a job I wouldn't have wished on anyone.
